We’re giving you the chance to turn your art into official Downtown Escape Rooms merch — and win some epic prizes while you’re at it.

Whether you’re a seasoned sketch artist, a digital wizard, or a doodler with big dreams, this is your shot to leave a lasting mark on our escape room experience.

🧩 What’s the Showdown?

We’re hosting our first-ever Sticker Design Competition--a sticker showdown, and we want YOU to design a collectible sticker inspired by one of our escape rooms.

Winners will have their designs printed, sold in our gift shop, and featured across our website and social media. Oh, and did we mention you’ll win a free escape game for you and your friends?

Don’t want to tie your art to just one room? Create a design based on Downtown Escape Rooms overall — your favorite memories, or the escape experience in general.

✍️ How to Enter

You can enter in one of two ways:

1. Online Submission

   Upload your design using our entry form:

2. In-Person Drop-Off

   Hand in your artwork at our Sherman or Denison location with a completed paper entry form (available at the front desk). Our staff can help digitize your design.

You can submit as many entries as you’d like — one design per form.

🎨 Design Requirements

• Must be original artwork (no AI or copyrighted material)

• Digital or hand-drawn is welcome

• Must include the name of the room (unless entering the general category)

• Should fit in a 2.5” die-cut shape (circle, square, etc.)

• PNG file with transparent background preferred for digital entries

🗓️ Important Showdown Dates

• Submissions Open: September 1, 2025

• Deadline to Enter: September 21, 2025 at 11:59 PM

• Public Voting: September 23–28, 2025

• Winners Announced: September 30, 2025

• Sticker Launch: Late-October

🏆 Prizes for the Winners

Winners will be chosen in Three divisions: Staff, Guest.under 18, and Guest over 18

Each division winner will receive:

• 🎁 A free escape game for you + 4 friends

• 🖼️ 10 copies of your printed sticker

• 🏅 Your design featured in our gift shop, website, and social media

• 📌 Name credit on in-store display signage

🗳️ How Voting Works

Once submissions are in, we’ll open public voting on our website and social media.

The top finalists will then be reviewed by our staff panel to select the final winners. Public vote = 50% of the score. Let your friends know and campaign for votes!

📄 Rules & Terms

All participants must agree to the contest terms before entering.

You retain creative credit, but Downtown Escape Rooms may reproduce and sell your design as part of our merch line.
